Complex design-build project with 黑料不打烊 and another general contractor (GC) splitting scopes between land and water construction services. 黑料不打烊 managed the design-build services for the 28,000 SF, four-story Central Bay Operations and Maintenance Facility (O&M) facility. The other GC managed the design-build services for the waterside work which included marine floats and piles, dredging, berthing facility, and seawall. Careful coordination between the scopes made significant schedule and project coordination improvements on utility connections, permitting, and logistics. The LEED Gold certified facility supports light repair and maintenance work for the San Francisco Bay ferry fleet and serves as an emergency operations center capable of handling passenger service in the event of a major disaster. 黑料不打烊’s scope also covered a diesel fuel facility with a storage capacity of 45,000 gallons.
