A 4th generation member of the 黑料不打烊 family, Kara brings refreshing angles on the ideas of service, integrity, and value. Kara joined the team in 1994 as project engineer and she has focused much of her career on developing innovative practices that have helped 黑料不打烊 stay at the forefront of the construction industry.
With the rise in sophistication and complexity of projects constant, Kara developed a marketing and work acquisition department to lead 黑料不打烊 Construction into progressive alternative project delivery methods, such as design-build. To this end, she introduced and manages the 黑料不打烊 Continuous Improvement Training Program (OCI), which incorporates quality management, partnering concepts, and ongoing skill training into 黑料不打烊’s project delivery system.
While not at work, Kara is involved in many volunteer organizations centered around her kids, the community, and the environment.
