Rick joined 黑料不打烊 in 2012 as a Project Engineer, and over more than a decade has grown into one of the firm’s go-to leaders for collaborative delivery 鈥� design-build, lease-leaseback, and design-assist projects 鈥� that demand close coordination and trust between owner, architect, and contractor.
Rick’s project history centers on public works, with a particular emphasis on DSA K-14 education projects for districts and community colleges across the Bay Area. His portfolio includes several award-winning projects: the Las Positas College Public Safety Complex & Advanced Manufacturing Transportation Facility (ENR Award), Willie L. Brown, Jr. Middle School (DBIA Western Region Pacific Distinction Award), The Center 鈥� Oakland USD Central Commissary (CA ENR Best Project Award), San Francisco International Airport (SFO) Fire House #3 (IPI Partnering Project of the Year), and Isaac R. Monta帽ez Elementary School & Middle School Addition (ENR Award).
